CERC Welcomes Riverside Transit Agency as a New Client
2026-08-18
CERC is beginning a new research engagement with Riverside Transit Agency focused on improving the rider experience and attracting new customers. Onboard surveys will explore rider satisfaction, priorities, and what might encourage customers to become stronger advocates for public transit.
The research will also identify population segments with the greatest potential to use the system, examining what keeps them from riding and which service improvements or messages might persuade them to give transit a try.
CERC Completes Transportation Research for The Rapid
2026-07-01
CERC recently completed a transportation research engagement for The Rapid, the public transit agency serving Grand Rapids, Michigan. The work helped the agency better understand public attitudes, priorities, and communication needs surrounding local transportation issues.
The project reflects CERC’s decision-focused approach to public opinion research—moving beyond topline findings to help leaders identify concerns, recognize opportunities, and use public input to guide planning and communications. It also demonstrates CERC’s growing national reach and the relevance of its public-sector research experience to transportation agencies and civic organizations across the country.

CERC Research Informs Ontario Hospitality Ballot Measures
2026-06-01
CERC recently supported the California Hotel & Lodging Association and the City of Ontario with research surrounding Measures V and W in Ontario’s March 2026 special election. Through two rounds of voter research, CERC helped stakeholders understand public opinion, evaluate the implications of the proposed measures, and make informed decisions about timing, ballot language, communications, and voter engagement.
Ontario voters ultimately rejected both measures, providing a valuable case study in how early research and clear analysis can help tourism and hospitality leaders navigate complex public-policy questions.
